@@evolutionaryTom is it wheelchair accessible? My daughter uses a wheelchair and there are many places here we can’t go like the residence Beach. I did not get the annual membership because I was not going to pay for something I can’t use with my daughter. It looks like a mile before we can get to the beach and I’m not getting any younger to push her all that way. I would have to rent a wheelchair beach chair and that will be more money added. I do appreciate your video get to see places in the island I can’t.

@@user-du3fg6vz3i I know Keewaydin is NOT wheelchair accessible. Just to make sure you know (you probably do already, but just in case) Resident's Beach has a wheelchair that is made for the sand. But I think they want you to use it to get to the water, then return it so others can use it. They have wheelchair friendly mats at South Beach that starts at the beach access and goes down to the water. I think they shorten it a bit during turtle season (which is now) but I've seen wheelchairs utilize it and it seems to work well. As you know, the trip to the water is much longer at Resident's Beach than it is at South Beach. I hope this is helpful in some way. I appreciate your nice comment about my videos. -Tom

@@evolutionaryTom yes I know about south beach that is where I started going. A neighbor took us into the residence beach to see the sunset and that is when I saw how far I would have to push her. I did not know they had a wheelchair beach but that doesn’t help us because she can’t seat in a beach chair so I can take it back. Someday I will buy a beach wheelchair. I do love your videos thank you

That's a great point. We had a huge finished basement in Illinois that would equate to half of our above ground house now! The same goes for storage and the garage. You'll use more of your garage for storage if you don't have a basement, so buy accordingly. Better yet, get rid of the stuff you don't use!!

Yes it has, Pedro. When you see a large excavator get delivered to a house, that's the first sign it's coming down. They just finished clearing off a house on a bay lot on Winterberry last week. I've heard that same conversations from some house builders on the island as well.

I would say yes. The strap has a loop sewn into it at the bottom. So you could just shorten the whole strap by tying a big loop into it or just cut it and tie your own loop at the end of it. Great question. -Tom

The Big Tuna is a beast, Kyle. Both get easier to set up after you do it a few times but I think the Wekapo is easier than the Big Tuna. Driving those 4 auger stakes for the Big Tuna is more work than filling up the Wekapo bags with sand. We've got our kids and their families coming next week for the 4th. I'm debating which one to use at the beach. If it's going to be a longer day, I'll probably go Big Tuna since it gives so much shade. Otherwise, the Wekapo cause it's just a little big easier to put up. It's good to have options!! -Tom

@@pedrofernandez8729 Yes, you could do that. Another way I know of that many people do and that is to park at the parking lot across from Rose Marina and offload your bike there.

Also, the Walgreens liquor store sells more alcohol than any other location in the country.

Great question, Ramon. You don't have to oil each blade. Once you turn it on after you put a couple drops of oil on it, the action of the blades and the heat it generates will disperse the oil over all the blades. I put a few drop on it and then let it run for about 30 seconds before I start my cut. I also make sure I don't put the oil on the same two blades each time I apply oil. Hope that helps. -Tom

Great question, Shirley. A single bike should go closest to the vehicle which creates less leverage on the hitch. If you put two bikes on the hitch always put the heaviest nearest the vehicle as well. Hope that helps! -Tom

I'm familiar with the Neso product but I haven't actually used one, Juan. I think they are so similar that I would go with the most cost effective choice. I think Neso has more of a marketing push behind it. I believe the reviews at how nice and convenient it is but I also think the WEKAPO is on par with it. Hope that helps a little. -Tom

Just gave myself a cut last night and couldn't be happier. My wife helps me do the back and the neck with clippers and it's all good. I was back in the midwest two weeks ago and my 32 year old son asked me to cut his with the Flowbee I gifted him after having given him so many cuts in the past with mine. After you use it for a bit you get really comfortable and confident. Much more so than walking in and getting a new person everytime you go into the shop. I almost used to get anxiety wondering what the result was going to be. Now I know each and every time. Good Luck!! -Tom

She does! 34 years and counting. I still feel very lucky as well! I get a lot of comments and emails on the Flowbee. Just gave myself a cut last night and Maria cleans up the back hair line and neck for me with my clippers. Jay, It's worth is. If I could only give one piece of advice it would be to use this. I did it before with a circular saw and just the cleanup was a nightmare let alone the rough cuts. I sold my tile cutter on FB market place in an instant after the project was done. Another option, some tool rental stores have tile cutters like this and you can rent one for a day. -Tom

You're right, they did close about 2 years ago. I think the shop on Marco was a sattelite shop for their main store in Naples. Funny, I just saw one of the cops on an E-Bike two days ago, after not seeing them for about 2 years. I spoke with the one E-Bike cop 2 years ago and he said the Pedigo shot would take care of his 10 year old bike as a favor. Then the local Police Foundation purchased a new E-Bike for the officer. But he said that bike had a lot of issues so they weren't doing the E-Bike thing at the moment. Then I saw one all of a sudden on Friday. I've tried to arrange an interview with the department about their E-Bike in the past and they said once they get it up and running better they would. I should check back with them. Sorry for the long story but the Pedego and E-Bike subject were oddly connected. -Tom

Out of all of the shades I have and have used, the Solbello is still my favorite because of how easy it is to set up, how effective it is at what it does, and the ease of transport.
